William “Billy” Stroud
President and Founder
- Billy founded the company in 2000 and it was incorporated as Quality Mechanical
Contractors, Inc in 2004. He has nearly 30 years experience in HVAC, refrigeration,
piping, welding, fabrication, maintenance and mechanical contracting. His
business philosophy is simple – provide exceptional customer service and
quality craftsmanship, all at a fair price. Billy enjoys fishing, four
wheeling and of course; his grandchildren.

Paula Stroud
Corporate Secretary
- Paula has been involved with the company from the beginning and is active
in the office. She and Billy have four children, and three grandchildren
who spend lots of time visiting. She enjoys spending weekend respites with
her husband in secluded the Ozarks and gets Billy away as often as possible.

Howard Hetsel
General Manager
- Howard joined the QMC Inc in September 2005. He holds a MS in Operations Management from the Univ of Ark, a BBA in Accounting from the Univ of Memphis, and ASCs in both Occupational Safety and Health and Industrial Management from Solano College. With more than 25 years management experience, he is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, a Certified Lean Sensi and a Certified Production and Inventory Control Manager. On weekends, you can catch Howard on the hiking trail or on the river canoeing, whitewater rafting or fly fishing. He is an active hospice volunteer and leads drug/alcohol recovery retreats.

Mike Findley
Operations Manager
- Mike has over 20 years experience in industrial maintenance/engineering. After 8 years in the US Navy as a Nuclear trained machinist and mechanic on submarines, he obtained his BSME and has spent the past 15 years managing maintenance and engineering projects in nuclear power facilities, pulp/paper, food, chemical and petrochemical, textile, and steel mills. Projects managed range from major retrofits/overhauls to new construction and remanufacture of pumps, motors and gearboxes. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 6 children ages 2 to 19, with his two oldest attending the U of M. His hobbies include hunting, softball, golf and FISHING. The next time you are on the water don't be surprised to see Mike as he is a determined bass tournament fisherman.

David Danjowski
Project Manager
- With more than 18 years experience in mechanical construction, David has worked in fabricating shops and on numerous field installations. He has traveled across the country experiencing a variety of job applications and is proficient in pipefitting, fabricating and is a certified welder. He has supervised and coordinated both small and large scale jobs. His motto is “If you can think it, I can build it.” When not working, he spends his time with his wife and three children. Most weekends he’s fishing, hunting or 4-wheeling, and is an avid football and NASCAR fan.

Jeff Williams
Project Manager
- Jeff hails from Crockett County, Tennessee and was trained as a journeyman pipe-fitter. He has 15 years of mechanical experience and more than 10 years in management. Coupled with a strong sales background, he is focused on customer satisfaction; delivering job completion on-time, on-budget, and exceeding expectations. Married with 4 children, he enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys coaching youth sports.
